Charlie Weidner
Solicitor

Charles qualified as a Solicitor in 1979 and specialises in Conveyancing and Criminal Law. Charles is also a Higher Court Advocate in Criminal Law.

Charles has practiced for over 40 years in these areas of law and has gathered an impressive following in both conveyancing matters and criminal matters.

Conveyancing:

Charles deals with all types of residential conveyancing. This includes but is not limited to: sales, purchases, transactions involving “new build” properties, help-to-buy transactions, re-mortgages and transfers of equity. Charles also routinely deals with leasehold transactions and properties bought at auction.

Charles appreciates that a client’s chief concern in conveyancing is expediency. There he dedicates himself to each of his client’s cases to ensure that their matter is never idle and that those acting for the other side are routinely chased to progress matters.

Charles also deals with Commercial conveyancing.

Crime:

Charles has represented clients from the police station to the Magistrates Court and even to the Crown Court. Charles has acted for clients charged with Murder and serious Drugs Conspiracies.

Charles has a client base that is decades in age and with regularly returning clients. Such is his level of expertise and client care, Charles still accepts instructions from clients that he acted for many years ago.

Charles is often described as a robust advocate who is not easily swayed by the Prosecution in defence of his client’s case.

Charles is also a member of the Duty Solicitor Scheme for Darlington, South Durham and North Yorkshire.
