Meikles Solicitors has been a part of the Spennymoor town centre at 2-3 Clyde Terrace since the 1930s.

Lyanne Steinberg LL.B (Partner) completed her training at Spennymoor and after running our office in Newton Aycliffe and spending some time at Ferryhill, she returned to Spennymoor where she deals with the full range of legal issues, both family and criminal. Lyanne is a member of the Family Law Accreditation Scheme.
Karin Welsh LL.B (Consultant) has been associated with Meikles since 1979 and although she retired as a Partner in 2008, she now works as a consultant specialising in child care proceedings. Karin is a member of the Children Panel Accreditation Scheme. She is also a Deputy Coroner for both Sunderland and Hartlepool districts.
Hilary Billingham F. Inst. L. Ex joined Meikles in 2000 from another local firm. She is a very experienced Legal Executive, having worked in the profession for over 25 years. Hilary deals with a wide variety of areas including family, conveyancing and probate law.
