Catherine is a specialist family lawyer having qualified as a Barrister in 2003 and then achieving dual qualification by qualifying as a Solicitor in 2006. Catherine deals with highly complex financial issues arising from divorce including cases where there are family businesses and/or farming cases.
Catherine also has significant experience in dealing with pre and post nuptial agreements and issues in relation to cohabitation, including cohabitation agreements and matters concerning the family home.
Catherine is also known for her expertise in dealing with children issues including representation of children or their parents in relation to arrangements for children, including where they will live and the arrangement to see others and adoption. She is also known for dealing with complex cases involving children where welfare issues are a concern and where Social Services become involved.
Catherine has a wealth of experience in dealing with cases involving the Armed Forces including children matters, divorce and financial settlement. Catherine also has considerable experience in children matters involving removal of children from the jurisdiction.
Catherine is accredited by the Law Society as a member of the Children Panel and is also a member of Resolution.
