Stephen Andrews
Solicitor

Stephen qualified as a Solicitor in October 1996. Thereafter, Stephen gained Higher Rights of Audience. He is also a member of the Duty Solicitor Scheme.

Stephen practices solely in Criminal law and has defended clients for over 25 years. Stephen brings his wealth of experience to bear in defending clients in the Magistrates Court and Crown Court. Stephen also represents clients at the Youth Courts and specialises in cases involving Grave crime. Stephen is also an experienced Court Martial advocate and has dealt with serious civilian and service offences throughout the course of his career.

Stephen has also appeared at the Court of Appeal Criminal Division. It is rare for Solicitors to appear in the Court of Appeal and conducting advocacy especially. Despite this, Stephen successfully appealed sentences imposed by Circuit Judges at the Crown Court and improved the outcome for his lay client.

Stephen deals with clients accused of offences across the spectrum of severity, from theft to Murder.

Stephen has extensive experience in dealing with clients facing life-changing criminal allegations. He is adept at managing client expectations, and above all, fighting for his client’s case.

Over the years, through hard work and a stellar reputation with the Court, Stephen has gathered a significant following of clients.
